Flok

Flok organises company retreats and leadership offsites for tech businesses whose staff work remotely or across several offices. It handles the venue, the programme and the logistics so that the client's leaders can run the event rather than manage it.

What Flok offers

• Venue sourcing — building a shortlist from dates, headcount and budget, then negotiating the hotel contract, drawing on staff experience at Marriott and Four Seasons.
• Custom designed retreats — a full event planned around a stated aim, such as reconnecting a spread-out team or agreeing on next steps, then run end to end.
• Strategic Escapes — the fullest option, which opens with a purpose session and adds facilitated workshops to a custom retreat.
• Group design — seating and small groups mixed by location, role, seniority or tenure, depending on whether the goal is connection or early debate.

Who it works with

The firm serves remote and distributed tech companies planning company retreats or executive offsites. One example on its site is a Montreal retreat for 365 people from legal tech firm EvenUp, moved there after US venues came in over budget.
