NotePage

NotePage writes software that lets organisations send text and SMS messages to mobile phones and other wireless devices. Its range covers both a network gateway for larger set-ups and a desktop program for single computers.

What NotePage offers

• PageGate — an SMS gateway server that accepts messages from networked PCs, email, web pages, command lines, text files, other applications or a serial port, now at version 11.
• Delivery options — sending to carriers over the internet (SNPP, WCTP, SMTP), over modems (TAP, UCP, GSM, TONE) or through direct serial links, with redundancy and fail-over for urgent alerts.
• NotePager Pro — a desktop program that sends texts over an internet connection, a modem or a cellular modem, with group sends, stored messages and scheduling.
• PageGate Platinum — an edition bundling every interface and add-on, a 30,000-recipient licence, lifetime upgrades, virtual training and lifetime priority support.

Who it works with

The software is aimed at businesses that treat alerting as part of their core infrastructure. Phone support is reserved for priority support customers; others get help by email and a support forum.
