Emtrain

Emtrain produces online compliance and workplace culture courses and turns learner responses into data on emerging risk. The company is based in San Francisco with a second office in Sacramento, California. Founder and chief executive Janine Yancey previously worked as an employment investigator and litigator, and the firm describes itself as women-owned and women-led.

What Emtrain offers

• Compliance courses — topics such as anti-bribery, harassment prevention, cybersecurity, bias, leadership and inclusion, written with employment law specialists.
• Microlessons and learning tracks — short modules and structured paths on topics such as emotional intelligence, conflict management and ethics.
• AI risk agents — tools that read training responses for signs of compliance and employee-relations risk across teams, managers and locations, and suggest interventions.
• Talent and skills agent — spots capability gaps and builds learning paths from Emtrain content.
• AuthorAI — AI-assisted course writing with branding, video and sentiment questions, exported to an LMS via SCORM.
