ArborCAD

ArborCAD is a computer-aided design package made for consulting arborists. It takes field data and produces site drawings for surveys, tree protection reports and planning work, without the need for any other CAD program. The company offers an online training course and support for new users.

What ArborCAD offers

• Tree placement — positions each tree from downloaded or hand-entered field data, with a unique ID label linked to its data.
• Automatic drawing — draws canopies, encroachments, tree protection zones and root protection zones.
• Schedules — builds tree schedules from recorded data such as species, health, dimensions, age and retention value.
• Base plans — works over architects' or surveyors' CAD files, scanned plans, aerial photos or satellite images scaled to size.
• Colour coding — highlights trees on the drawing to make plans easier to read.
• Standards — full support for international and Australian standards.
