ZenTao

ZenTao produces project management software for software development teams. Its international edition now goes by Sanplex, a rebuilt product shaped around how English-speaking project managers work, positioned as an alternative to Jira for Agile, Waterfall and CMMI teams. Sanplex says over 25,000 enterprises have adopted it.

Products and services

• Work tracking: Scrum and Kanban boards, tasks, stories and bugs, custom workflows and links that trace work from product plans through to test cases.
• Documentation: wiki-style pages and a shared knowledge base, with access controlled by permissions.
• Test management: test cases linked to stories and bugs, bugs raised directly from failed steps and coverage reports.
• Gantt planning: drag-and-drop scheduling with milestones and task dependencies.
• Four-tier structure: program, project, product and execution levels that tie strategy to daily work.
• Hosting choice: install it on local servers or use the Sanplex Cloud service; a one-click tool moves existing Jira data across.
