Alugha

Alugha is a German video globalisation company that helps creators and organisations publish video in many languages. Its cloud software covers transcription, translation, voiceover and subtitling, and it runs an EU-hosted video portal for businesses; clients can use the toolkit themselves or hand work to its full service.

What Alugha offers

• Transcription and subtitles — AI-supported tools for turning speech into text and adding subtitles.
• Translation and dubbing — translation and synchronised voiceover in more than 200 languages; the dubbr tool pairs AI translation with team review, project asset management and live collaboration.
• Multi-track video — one video can carry several audio language tracks.
• Business video hosting — encoding, hosting and streaming from EU servers without the tracking of consumer video sites, aimed at compliance teams.

Who it works with

Alugha serves content creators, companies and organisations reaching international audiences, including those that must meet GDPR and EAA requirements. It says more than 70K content creators use it.
