AddressDynamic

AddressDynamic is the company behind Postkodes, a platform for booking, documenting and tracking freight and parcels. It began with a service for recovering lost parcels through its tracking app, which is now published as Postkodes, and its operations centre on routes to, from and within Africa.

What AddressDynamic offers

• Parcel pickup and delivery — domestic errands and last-mile deliveries.
• Freight booking — air, sea and road shipments, including containers and consolidations.
• Shipment tracking — covers more than 1,000 carriers, airlines and shipping lines, with SMS and email alerts.
• Paperless documents — labels, proof of delivery and electronic air waybills.
• Rates marketplace — compares air and ocean quotes on African corridors, with capacity and arrival estimates.
• API and apps — connections to other business tools, plus iOS and Android apps.

Who it works with

Freight forwarders, importers and exporters, online sellers, small and mid-sized courier firms and larger shippers. The original service also let people report a lost or misdelivered parcel and be told by SMS when it turned up.
