TrustList summary

Not yet independently verified. Capveon launched on 29 October 2026 and names no customers; details come from its own site, security page and YC launch page, read on 30 October 2026, with no independent review yet. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

Public infrastructure work in the United States is announced across thousands of federal, state and municipal sites, and the details that decide whether a project is worth bidding sit in plans, specifications and drawings rather than in the notice. Capveon, a San Francisco company, uses AI to read those documents for the firms that sell into the projects.

From a buried specification to a next step

Capveon gathers public project documents, decides whether each project is relevant to a given company's products or services, and explains why, so a sales or estimating team sees the projects early instead of when the bid is already shaped. For the projects that matter, it drafts the next step. The company starts with water and wastewater, heavy civil and industrial work.

Its customers are manufacturers, manufacturers' representatives, contractors and engineering firms, the companies whose equipment or services get written into a specification or bid against it.

Controls on what the tool can change

Capveon's security page says the product is read-only by default and asks a person to approve anything it writes back to another system. It supports single sign-on through SAML, keeps customer data in the United States and does not train models on customer data.

The founders are Finn Lancaster, the chief executive, who previously worked at Harper and founded FinnedAI, and Brison Moorhead, the chief operating officer, who was the founding account executive at Bonsai and worked at HubSpot.
