The Renault 4 E-Tech electric brings back a familiar name as a battery-electric crossover. On the United Kingdom site every version has 150 hp and the comfort range battery of 52 kWh. The line-up runs through evolution+, techno+, techno+ plein sud, iconic+ and iconic+ plein sud. The plein sud name refers to a sunroof, which is optional from techno+ upward and described as available to order in 2026.
The page gives a WLTP range of up to 249 miles, which is about 401 km, as a comparison figure. Rapid charging needs a 100 kW DC charger, which the page says is found only on public networks. Under the stated test conditions the battery goes from 15 percent to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
Renault lists up to 28 driver assistance systems. Named items include intelligent adaptive cruise control, active driver assist, active emergency braking, detection with emergency trajectory correction and hands-free parking. For connected services there are three layers. The My Renault app offers remote vehicle management, subject to phone compatibility and possible fees. Reno is an avatar app that gives tips, answers voice commands, can open the sunroof and can schedule battery charging, and it runs on a ChatGPT-based model. Google built-in adds real-time navigation, electric journey planning, a voice assistant and access to more than 100 apps. The ChatGPT-powered reno services are said to arrive through a future automatic update.
The lowest price shown is 23,445 pounds for the evolution+ version. It includes the 3,750 pound Electric Car Grant and excludes metallic paint.
