Perodua's battery-electric car for Malaysia, with 370 km of WLTP range (445 km NEDC), a 7.5 second 0 to 100 km/h time in Sport Mode and prices from RM 63,499.
Made by Perodua

The QV-E is Perodua's first battery-electric car, aimed at Malaysian buyers who want an electric car from the national maker without paying for a premium brand. Perodua lists it as the only battery-electric model in its range, and it has its own launch site headed Power What's Next. It comes with two ways to pay: a battery leasing plan or a full purchase.
Perodua quotes a driving range of 445 km on the NEDC cycle and 370 km on the WLTP cycle. The 0 to 100 km/h time is 7.5 seconds in Sport Mode, and DC charging runs from 30 to 80 percent. Perodua notes that declared range, charging time and performance are estimates from standard test procedures, and real results depend on driving style, load, traffic and battery condition.
With the battery leasing plan the price starts at RM 63,499, and Perodua guarantees battery performance under that plan. With the full purchase option the price is RM 87,499. The vehicle warranty is six years or 150,000 km and applies to selected major components. The high voltage battery has its own warranty of eight years or 160,000 km, valid only for the full purchase option. The warranty wording differs between the two payment options, so read the terms for the one you choose.
The cabin has a 10.25 inch touchscreen head unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, a soft-touch dashboard, a digital inner rear-view mirror and a six-way power adjustable driver seat with semi-leather upholstery. The luggage compartment has two levels. Outside, the QV-E has 18 inch alloy rims, integrated door handles, a continuous front light signature and a full-length LED tail lamp.
Six airbags are fitted, along with a 360 degree auto surround view monitor, a driving video recorder, an emergency SOS button, tyre pressure monitoring and child presence detection. The Perodua Smart Drive Assist package includes autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, highway assist and traffic jam assist. Perodua says it does not replace the driver's responsibility. P2 OneGo adds remote functions, Wi-Fi connectivity, geofence zones, remote start prohibit, live location and driving history, with a complimentary access period and a possible subscription afterwards.
