The Mustang Mach-E puts a familiar name on an electric family SUV. Ford describes it as family-friendly practicality with sports car style, and with up to 59.7 cubic feet of space behind the front seats when the second row is folded down, it can carry the weekly shop or the weekend bags as easily as the school run. The US site lists the 2026 model in four trims, each aimed at a different kind of driver.
Select starts at $37,795 and is quoted at up to 300 miles of EPA-estimated range. Premium starts at $40,595 and reaches 320 miles, and it adds heated and ventilated front seats, a B&O sound system and a choice of Black Onyx or Light Space Gray interior. GT starts at $53,395, is rated at 280 miles and has an upgraded electric all-wheel-drive system, Brembo front brakes and Ford Performance front seats. Rally starts at $57,690 and is rated at 255 miles. It has Rallycross-tuned MagneRide damping, Michelin CrossClimate2 tyres and, with the GT Performance Upgrade, 700 lb-ft of torque. All prices are starting MSRP.
Ford gives EPA-estimated ranges by trim and battery. The Premium with rear-wheel drive is rated at 320 miles with the extended-range battery and 260 miles with the standard one. The standard pack is 73 kWh usable, and the extended pack is 88 kWh in the Premium, while the GT and Rally use a 91 kWh pack. A DC fast charger can take a standard-range 2025 Mach-E from 10 to 80 percent in around 32 minutes. On a 48-amp charger and a 240V outlet, the standard-range rear-wheel-drive car charges in 7.8 hours. An adapter for the NACS connector is an optional extra.
A 15.5 inch touchscreen runs SYNC 4A beside a 10.2 inch digital cluster, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa built in and a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot. The standard-range rear-wheel-drive Select makes 264 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque. BlueCruise hands-free highway driving is available with the Technology Package.
The base vehicle carries 3 years or 36,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper cover. The high-voltage battery is covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles, provided it keeps at least 70 percent of its original capacity. NHTSA gave the 2026 Mach-E five stars. The Ford App shows charging updates, charging history and energy tracking, locks and unlocks the car and preconditions the cabin.
