The Genesis GV60 is the brand's compact electric SUV. Its official page describes an 84 kWh lithium-ion battery from SK On and offers three drivetrain choices, so buyers can pick economy or output depending on the version they order.
The Standard 2WD version has one rear motor producing 168 kW and 350 Nm. The Standard AWD adds a front motor for a combined 234 kW and 605 Nm, and the Performance AWD reaches 360 kW and 700 Nm, with a Boost Mode available only on that version. Under 2024 Korean certification the Standard 2WD is rated at up to 481 km combined, the Standard AWD at 415 to 437 km and the Performance AWD at 382 km. In the United Kingdom the Pure 168 kW version is quoted at up to 348 miles on the WLTP cycle.
Genesis says a 350 kW ultra-fast charger takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes, adding more than 300 km of range. The UK page states that the car can accept power at up to 250 kW in optimal conditions.
Named systems include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Highway Driving Assist 2. The UK page also lists Rear Cross-Traffic Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist and a Surround View Monitor. Genesis Digital Key 2 works from an iPhone, an Android phone or an Apple Watch.
