Sources in Vehicle factsCupra describes the Tavascan as its sporty electric SUV coupe, and it is the model for buyers who want a raised driving position and a sloping roofline without a petrol or hybrid engine. In the UK every car is right-hand drive, as left-hand drive is not available. The range starts with the Origin trim and climbs through V1 and V2 to the two VZ versions, with the two VZ versions at the top.
The 77 kWh battery comes with two outputs, 286 PS and 340 PS. Cupra's range figure of up to 343 miles (about 552 km) is for the 286 PS version. DC charging is rated at 135 kW, and a 10 to 80 percent charge on a 135 kW charger takes about 29 minutes. The My CUPRA app lets you control charging, set the climate and check the car from a phone.
Five trims are listed. Origin starts at £39,995, V1 at £41,695, V2 at £44,495, VZ1 at £54,930 and VZ2 at £59,830. These are recommended on-the-road prices, and retailers set the actual figure. The car in Cupra's pictures is the VZ1 with 340 PS, Matt Bronze paint and 21 inch Katla wheels, priced at £57,025 with those options.
Connected Travel Assist combines adaptive cruise control with lane assist, and the car also offers Trained Park Assist and Remote Park Assist, with a top view camera among the listed features. Euro NCAP gave the Tavascan five stars in 2024.
