Epsilon Backup

Epsilon Backup is professional online backup software for companies, with a strong focus on keeping backup copies small. It keeps many versions of data in a private or hybrid cloud, using incremental binary differencing so the stored copy takes less room than the source.

What Epsilon Backup offers

• Cloud backup — copies files and databases that are in use, including MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle.
• Virtual machine imaging — full images of VMware and Hyper-V, and granular copies from other virtualisation platforms.
• Central control — one panel manages hundreds of agents, with settings changed in bulk through profiles.
• Scheduling and retention — limits on CPU and bandwidth by hour and day, and a retention policy the customer sets.
• Restores and reports — scheduled or on-demand restores, local or remote, plus daily and monthly status reports.

Who it works with

Companies needing backup and disaster recovery, and partners who resell it as backup-as-a-service or disaster-recovery-as-a-service. A partner certification course is mentioned.
