Drive SnapShot 1.46

Drive SnapShot creates an image of a hard disk for backup, restore and disaster recovery purposes while Windows continues running. The product supports Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 and 64-bit editions, and its site describes disk image backup and restore procedures in detail, walking through each step of the process. It also includes a bootable DOS disk creation tool, useful for restoring a system image outside of Windows itself, and an image explorer for browsing the contents of a backup without needing to restore the whole image first. Command-line options are provided for automating backups, letting the software be scheduled or scripted rather than run manually each time. A trial version is offered for download from the site so that the backup and restore process can be tested before a full installation is set up on a given machine.
