The design for the SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity (MOSAC) – formerly the Powerhouse Science Center – re-envisions the historic riverfront structure as a hub for science education, exploration and promotion in the City of Sacramento On the banks of the Sacramento River, the museum grows out from an abandoned power station building The purpose of this book is to share the work of Dreyfuss + Blackford as well as to effectively convey our unique personality to both newer staff and those who join us in partnership as consultants or clients

In 1958 Dreyfuss + Blackford designed the Sacramento Municipal Utility District Headquarters, and in 2014 the firm was commissioned to to renovate and rehabilitate the entire facility
