How did you build you career at IQbusiness?

I am relatively new to IQbusiness but this one year has shaped my career so much I have redefined myself and moved towards my strengths and passions I have a supportive lead, who allowed me the space to explore and build this role as I needed, whilst pushing me to explore new things and growth avenues

How does your job contribute to growth in Africa?

Agility, particularly the product ownership role is still growing in Africa I am directly able to influence people in the role with training, coaching and contracting

Can you share any productivity tips?

Given the pandemic and new ways of work: I have worked on creating a home office that is my work sanctuary I have customised it with all my favourite things; my son's art, my favourite motivation mantras (like "What would Beyoncé do?") and awards that I have received during my career So that when I sit at my desk, beast mode is automatically activated

How did you build your career at IQbusiness?

My journey started in 2010 with IQbusiness, where I wanted to get back into Management Consulting from IT Consulting It has been a phenomenal journey working through different clients, predominantly in Financial Services I started running with the BA competency in 2014 and started growing and formalising the career progression from a BA perspective in conjunction with leading teams (direct reporting and project lead), partnering with Client Development in the Absa CIB space and started building and owning relationships in CIB In 2018, I took ownership of the Analysis Line of Business and have been heading this up and looking to grow this LOB into the future

Can you share an experience that demonstrates one of our values?

Servant Leadership is very prominent in IQbusiness There are no hierarchies and everyone is on a level playing field Our leaders are the first at the coal face and will take the necessary steps with our people top of mind They also take direction when needed from every level in the organisation
