Not yet independently verified. The launch date rests on the maker’s own Show HN post of 2 October 2026; the site first appears in the web archive that day. It names no operating company or location, and no independent report was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
Paidwen is a continuous-integration check for web applications, presented by its maker on Hacker News on 2 October 2026 as quality assurance for code written by AI assistants. Teams describe their critical user journeys once in a paidwen.yml file, as steps such as navigating, filling in fields, clicking and checking for text. On every pull request, Paidwen, installed as a GitHub App, starts the application from its Docker Compose file or Dockerfile with a fresh database, replays each journey in a browser with Playwright, mocks external services such as payments, email, storage and AI APIs by default, and compares the result with the base branch. When a journey breaks, it blocks the merge and attaches a video and a report naming the failed step; coding agents can read the verdict through a command-line tool and an MCP server. Its site says public repositories are free and private repositories start with a 14-day free trial.
