Concepter

Concepter is a startup studio that develops its own hardware and software products and works with entrepreneurs to bring product ideas to market, including through crowdfunding launches such as Kickstarter. It says it can offer seed funding, development support and mentorship to help build a hardware product ready for the market, and its own products have included a wireless charging pad and a smartphone concept. It focuses on consumer technology across areas such as Internet of Things devices, smart home products, robotics, gadgets, sound equipment and wearables, as well as design-led products without electronics such as household and travel goods. Each supported startup is said to receive legal, engineering, marketing and creative assistance to build a minimum viable product for its crowdfunding launch, and the studio has received awards including Product Design company of the year and Internet of Things developer of the year.
