Anthropic

Anthropic is an artificial intelligence company organised as a public benefit corporation. Its site says the company is dedicated to securing the benefits of AI and reducing its risks, and it treats safety as a core part of both its research and its products.

Its main product is Claude, an AI assistant offered in several model sizes. The home page lists the current Haiku, Sonnet and Opus releases from September and October 2026 alongside other named models. Developers reach Claude through the Claude Platform API. Around it the company offers Claude Code for programming work, and further products named Claude Science, Claude Design and Claude Security, plus connections to tools such as Chrome, Slack and Microsoft 365.

The site addresses developers, enterprises, startups, public sector bodies, healthcare, financial services, legal work, education, nonprofits and small businesses. Anthropic also runs learning programmes, Claude Academy and Frontier Academy, and publishes research from teams working on alignment, interpretability, economics and the wider effects of AI on society.
