Ailytics raises $7.4m to turn old site cameras into safety AI
Tin Men Capital led again after the US$2.7 million pre-Series A of April 2024. Japan's Safie and Singapore's SEEDS joined, and the money…
Ailytics, a Singapore vision AI company, adds video analytics to the CCTV that construction sites, plants, ports and yards already have, flagging safety, security and productivity risks in real time.
Ailytics is a Singapore company that builds video analytics software for heavy industry. Rather than selling cameras, it connects to the CCTV a worksite already runs and uses computer vision to spot safety, security and productivity risks as they happen, so footage that would otherwise be reviewed only after an incident becomes a live warning system. The company says most sites are live in under two weeks.
Its platform, Ailyssa, applies computer vision and vision language model techniques to existing camera feeds. It detects breaches of protective equipment rules, entries into exclusion zones and near misses, and the company says it derives three-dimensional spatial understanding from a single two-dimensional feed. In June 2026 Ailytics added AilyssaX, a contextual reasoning engine that follows scenes in motion and checks multi-step procedures, which the company says was trained through live use in rain, dust, poor light and on decades-old cameras. Beyond safety, the platform covers security uses and productivity measures such as man-hour tracking and machine idle time.
Ailytics started in construction, on Housing and Development Board projects and with contractors including Woh Hup, Obayashi and Soilbuild. The customers it now names include NatSteel, the PaxOcean shipyard in Indonesia, DHL, Rome's Leonardo da Vinci airport and the Changi Airport Terminal 5 build, where it monitors more than 1,000 cameras. It reports more than 400 deployments in 15 countries, among them the US, Australia, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Japan, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and plans to move into manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, maritime and mining. In Japan it works with the cloud camera company Safie under a memorandum of understanding signed in April 2026.
