GlobalSim

GlobalSim designs and builds simulators for training crane and heavy equipment operators, and does nothing outside simulation. It has built simulators for customers worldwide for nearly three decades, and its systems are in use on six continents.

What GlobalSim does

• Crane simulators: port, bridge and construction crane trainers, from portable and virtual reality units to very large installations.
• Defence training systems: simulators and curriculum for lifting, logistics, earthmoving and material handling equipment.
• Simulator platforms: the Advantage, Full Mission and Apex simulators, from equipment-specific training to cabin-style systems.
• Motion platforms: calibrated motion bases that add realistic movement for trainees.
• Core technology for integrators: simulation components and custom services for contractor-led programmes.
• Instructor tools: oversight, assessment and readiness tracking.

Who it works with

Its customers include defence organisations and programme partners, port operators, construction trainers and training centres. Published examples include the University of Piraeus in Greece, a training centre in Antwerp and a simulator in Puerto Rico.
