Jurema

Jurema is a technology studio that pairs electronics hobbyists with software developers. Its Portuguese-language text says the team grew up in free and open source culture, yet chooses tools case by case rather than following trends.

What Jurema offers

• Product hacking — modifying existing products to do something new.
• Object printing — making physical objects through printing.
• Circuits and robots — designing electronic circuits and robotic devices.
• Connected products — items that blend hardware and web software, such as social and smart devices.
• Prototypes and campaigns — projects have included turning a car model into a musical instrument and social commerce work on Instagram.

Who it works with

The studio builds for clients and aims for products that also affect society and culture, based on its stated belief that potential lies in people more than technology.
