Gobuzzr

Gobuzzr - Smart Beehive Monitoring System is a connected device and app that lets beekeepers follow the state of their hives from a distance. Sensors in the hive record weight, temperature and humidity, and the app alerts the keeper when any of them change, so hives are opened only when needed.

Products and services

• Hive sensors: built-in sensors that measure hive weight, temperature and humidity.
• Mobile app with alerts: instant notifications of changes, cutting unnecessary trips to the apiary.
• Bee traffic monitoring: real-time tracking of flights to help improve pollination.
• Data for diagnosis: collected records that help explain sudden hive deaths and time honey collection.
• Honey marketplace: sale of raw single-origin honeys and gift boxes, with space for other producers to list honey products.
• Apiary hosting: a scheme for farmers and landowners to host hives on their land.

Clients

The system is aimed at beekeepers and apiarists who raise queens and inspect colonies, and at growers and farmers who depend on pollination.
