Gis Support

Gis Support is a consultancy in Poland that helps organisations make practical use of geographic information systems, with a strong focus on QGIS. It starts with a conversation about how a client uses GIS today, runs workshops on processes, data and team skills, and then offers advice, training or software rollout as needed. The stated goal is a client team able to run its own GIS work.

What Gis Support offers

• QGIS training — basic courses, company-specific sessions and online courses for individuals, geared to particular industries.
• Consulting workshops — sessions that map out problems and priorities in a client's GIS processes.
• GIS.Box platform — a browser-based system for managing map data, assigning field tasks, reporting and team collaboration without coding.
• QGIS plugins — the GIS Support and Location Lab plugins for QGIS.
• Spatial data — access to spatial datasets covering Poland.

Who it works with

• Renewable energy developers handling wind farms, solar and storage sites
• Owners of infrastructure such as transmission networks, industrial plants and transport assets
• Local government offices and the bodies that report to them
