Crafting Software

Crafting Software is a development studio known for work in Elixir and Erlang, two languages suited to real-time, fault-tolerant systems. Its older site described the team as based in Transylvania, Romania. It builds custom web and mobile applications for startups and established firms, from first MVP through to scaling up.

What Crafting Software offers

• Elixir and Erlang consulting — architecture advice and hands-on development on the BEAM platform.
• Payment software — systems that route transactions across several payment providers, handle cross-border flows and cope with high volumes.
• Custom web and mobile apps — consumer and enterprise products built with Elixir, Erlang and JavaScript.
• Product and UX/UI design — shaping an idea into a usable product before and during the build.
• Real-time platforms — software that relies on AI and cloud services and needs to stay up under load.

Who it works with

The studio names fintech, telecom, sports, real estate, health, education and entertainment as its sectors. One example on its site is an enterprise product for a Silicon Valley startup that gives leasing agents telephony, email, SMS, calendar sync, background screening and reporting in one app. Client comments come from Reva Technology, Localvore and ‹div›RIOTS.
