Blueprint Apps

Blueprint Apps, now trading as Blueprint, supplies senior mobile engineers to product teams. It began by building apps for clients and has shifted towards staffing, with its own CTO screening each engineer for skill, communication, time zone and values before a client meets them.

What Blueprint Apps offers

• Staff augmentation — vetted mobile developers who join a client's engineering team.
• Contract-to-hire — trial engagements with a route to full-time employment.
• Candidate screening — clients meet only one or two pre-vetted engineers per role.
• Mobile development — native and hybrid work, including Android in Java and Kotlin and Apple platforms in Swift and Objective-C.
• Managed builds — taking an idea from concept to market, as described on its earlier site.

Who it works with

It works with companies hiring mobile engineers, including startups with investor backing. Earlier projects included a play-recommendation app for football coaches, a time tracker for contractors and an athlete profile app.

Key facts

• Vetting: fewer than 5% of applicants accepted into its network
