AppsWireless

AppsWireless now builds tools for cloud performance intelligence, meaning measurements of how cloud infrastructure behaves in practice. Its main platform, ProvisioningIQ, runs synthetic tests around the clock to compare how quickly and reliably AWS, Azure and Google Cloud set up resources such as managed PostgreSQL databases. Before this, the company spent many years as a mobile app developer, a line of work it traces back to 2004.

What AppsWireless offers

• ProvisioningIQ — continuous benchmarks of provisioning latency and reliability across the three major cloud providers, with its data and methods published.
• Native mobile development — its earlier work covered iOS, Android, tvOS and Amazon Fire apps, plus React Native and mobile web.
• Voice and AR apps — Alexa and Google voice apps, augmented reality games and 360-degree video apps.
• Computer vision and messaging — machine learning features, chat and OTT apps and push notifications.

Who it works with

The cloud benchmarks are aimed at teams choosing between cloud providers. For app work it named Softcard among past clients and used agile and Scrum in small teams alongside client staff.
