Active Bridge

Active Bridge specialises in Ruby on Rails development and has worked with the framework for more than ten years. Rather than handing over a separate project, it adds its developers to a client's own engineering team, a model it calls professional team as a service.

What Active Bridge offers

• Team augmentation — Rails engineers who join the client's team and follow its internal processes.
• Full-stack development — building web applications with Rails and related technologies.
• MVP builds — first versions of products for early-stage startups, followed by later releases.
• Product input — suggesting features and raising UX questions beyond the assigned tasks.
• Remote delivery — working across several countries and time zones using Agile and test-driven methods.

Who it works with

Its clients are startups and small and medium-sized businesses. Testimonials mention a sports marketplace built by three developers and a technical lead in six months, and a long engagement with Def Method's remote team that began in 2014.
