Not yet independently verified. Not yet independently verified. The 4 November date comes from OpenRouter's listing, since Google's changelog entry we read dates only the 1.2 release. Prices are from Google's pricing page. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash has a short life ahead of it. OpenRouter lists it from 4 November 2026, and Google's changelog says that from 3 December 2026 every request to gemini-omni-1.1-flash goes automatically to Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash, at the newer model's rates.
A price difference that favours moving early
Input and text output are priced the same on both models, at $1.50 and $9 per million tokens. The gap is in video output, at $17.50 per million tokens here against $12 on 1.2, about $0.10 a second against about $0.07. A team generating video at volume pays more for every clip until the routing date, so there is no saving in waiting.
What to test before 3 December
Because the change happens without a code change on the caller's side, anything tuned to this model's output will meet a different model on that date. Teams with fixed prompts or a review step can run them against gemini-omni-1.2-flash first. Google's earlier preview model, gemini-omni-flash-preview, has already been shut down.
