Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber launched alongside 3.8 Flash on 2 September 2026 as Google's most capable cybersecurity model, with deliberately looser mitigations for vulnerability detection and automated patching. It is not generally available: access runs through the new Fairwind Program, which gives trusted government authorities, critical-infrastructure operators and software maintainers prioritised access.
