Today I am passionate about finance and wealth management, and believe it or not, even accounting and tax But is it okay if I tell you about where I come from and how I got started? Our world changed when my parents made a serious but simple mistake… It all started when my parents’ business got into financial difficulty, around when I was 18 Despite my parents having a strong work ethic, they were not financially well-organised Because there was no good financial or business structuring advice around, my parents suffered and lost their business

We weren’t wealthy or lucky by any means To make our family good again, it was up to myself (and brother Peter) After getting a scholarship to a very good school, I studied well and entered Uni in a business degree I then took a job with one of the best accounting and financial services firms and I committed right then to become a specialist accountant and financial adviser – so no-one else had to go through what my family went through
