John P Sands, CPA has been in public practice since 1989 He obtained his Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting Theory and Practice in 1986 from California State University, Northridge After spending eleven years with two local CPA firms in the Southern California area, the last three years as the accounting and tax manager, he established his own firm in 1997 in the city of Northridge, CA After moving his firm to his hometown of Burbank, CA in 1998, he experienced tremendous growth primarily due to a large increase in individual tax clients working in the entertainment industry Currently John's office staff consists of another Certified Public Accountant (CPA),one tax preparer with 25 years of experience and two bookkeepers
