Kate began working with Howard Burtis in 2005, starting her accounting career as an administrative assistant She worked through positions of increasing responsibility including office manager, accounting associate, and staff accountant In 2020 she earned her name on the firm as a partner with Burtis & Johnson and assumed the role of Managing Partner in 2021 She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut and in addition to income tax preparation, Kate is also experienced in providing forensic accounting services for divorce and other family matters
