Acano, formerly S J Compton & Associates, was originally a sole practitioner firm established by Tony Compton It has been trading in the Springwood area since 1980 While working in the practice Tony published numerous books Clinton Ham and Megan Stubbersfield acquired the practice from Tony in early January 2009 Since acquiring the business, Megan and Clinton have continued to develop the strong relationships forged at S J Compton & Associates but also set about growing the business and have introduced the latest of cloud based technologies to develop a strong platform of growth

In late 2019, Megan and Clinton had noticed the business environment was continuing to be more complex and that change was occurring at probably the greatest pace in history With technology providing information and access to services that just weren’t possible even 12 months ago Realising that business as usual wouldn’t meet the needs of their progressive clients in to future, they looked to find a partner to move forward with to help meet the challenges that the business environment will show This culminated with our firm merging with Coscer Partners Pty Ltd
