NEXTDC operates data centres in major Australian cities and Kuala Lumpur and sells colocation space to businesses, carriers and cloud providers.
NEXTDC is an Australian data-centre operator that provides colocation, where customers house their own servers and network equipment in its facilities.
Its data centres page lists sites in Sydney (S1, S2, S3 and S6 operating, with more in planning), Melbourne (M1, M2 and M3), Brisbane (B1 and B2), Perth (P1 and P2), Canberra (C1), Adelaide (A1), Darwin (D1 and D2), the Sunshine Coast (SC1), Port Hedland and Newman in Western Australia, plus a facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (KL1). Sites in Tokyo and Auckland are shown as in planning or development, so they should not be assumed available.
Colocation is sold as rack spaces, private cages and private suites, with remote hands, high-performance computing and liquid cooling options, and build-to-suit and wholesale data centres for larger projects. Interconnection covers cross connects, data centre interconnects, internet solutions and cloud access to AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect, IBM Cloud Direct Link and Oracle FastConnect, through its AXON interconnectivity platform. Customers manage services through the ONEDC self-service hub. Customers keep control of their own hardware and software; contract terms and bundled services vary by facility.
