Filebase, Inc. is a company with a Boston, Massachusetts address in its terms of service that has built storage infrastructure since 2019. It sells S3-compatible object storage together with IPFS pinning, so the same capacity can serve both conventional S3 workloads and content on the IPFS network.
Buyers use a single S3 endpoint and the region value auto, which means existing AWS SDKs and command-line tools work after changing the endpoint and credentials. Its documentation covers migration from AWS S3, an S3 compatibility matrix and an SDK. The service also includes IPFS names, gateways and a CDN for sites hosted on IPFS, and the company says object egress is free.
Plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. According to its pricing page in October 2026, a Free plan offers 5 GB for testing, and the Pro plan is $7.50 per month and includes 500 GB of storage shared between object storage and IPFS. Additional storage is $0.015 per gigabyte, extra IPFS bandwidth is $0.015 per gigabyte, and request charges apply beyond the included allowance.
