About Cloudway

Cloudways sells managed cloud hosting for WordPress and other PHP applications. Rather than owning its own data centres, it runs customers' servers on infrastructure rented from partner clouds and adds a management layer on top.

Its pricing page lists DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, AWS and Google Cloud as the underlying providers. For DigitalOcean, the page shows locations including New York, Amsterdam, Bangalore, Frankfurt, London, San Francisco, Singapore, Sydney and Toronto, and the other providers add further locations. Customers pick the provider and location when creating a server.

According to its pricing page in October 2026, the Flexible plan started from $11 a month on DigitalOcean with 1 vCPU and 2 GB of memory, and an Autonomous plan was listed from $99 a month. Because the servers are rented from other providers, buyers should check which cloud and region they are choosing.
