Jon Dorfman co-founded Napier Park Prior to Napier Park, Jon was the Co-CEO & CIO of the alternative investment division within Citigroup: Citi Capital Advisors He achieved this position through Citigroup’s acquisition of Carlton Hill, a firm he Co-founded with Jim in 2005

Prior to founding Carlton Hill, Jon spent 20 years leading global investments at Morgan Stanley including Co-Head of Global Investment Grade Credit and Head of Global Credit Derivative and Asset Swap Trading

Jon has an extensive record of innovation and performance He was responsible for the first standardized credit default swap contract, a market leader in Credit Indexing (Tracers and CDX) and a pioneer in Credit Market Risk Tranches

Jon holds a BSE, Magna Cum Laude, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania

Jim O’Brien co-founded Napier Park Prior to Napier Park, Jim was the Co-CEO of the alternative investment division within Citigroup: Citi Capital Advisors He achieved this position through Citigroup’s acquisition of Carlton Hill, a firm he Co-founded with Jon in 2005

Preceding Carlton Hill, Jim spent 19 years leading global divisions at Morgan Stanley including Co-Head of Global Corporate Credit, Co-Head of Global Investment Grade Credit, Head of Global Cash Corporate Trading, Head of Global Credit Research and Head of European Corporate Bond and ABS Trading He was also a member of the US International Sales and Product Management Group

Jim holds a BS in Finance from The Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University
