Google Sheets

Google Sheets is a cloud-based spreadsheet program from Google. Several people can work in the same file at once, see edits as they happen and chat in the document. Changes are saved automatically, and files can also be used offline.

What Google Sheets offers

• Shared editing — collaborators are added to a sheet and notified of edits made while away.
• AI insights — an Explore button shows trends and charts, and answers typed questions about the data.
• Formula suggestions — relevant formulas appear as the user types.
• Microsoft compatibility — Excel files can be opened and edited alongside Sheets files.
• Permissions and data controls — access can be set per person, group or domain, with expiry dates and data loss prevention.
• Data connections — works with BigQuery, CSV and other sources.
