Salonist

Salonist is cloud-based salon and spa management software. Its makers say they have offered it since 2016, and it runs on the web and on mobile devices.

What Salonist offers

• Online booking — clients book, reschedule or cancel by following a link that can sit on a website or social media page.
• Slot blocking and off-hours booking — prevents double bookings and lets clients book when the salon is closed.
• Packages and memberships — bundles services for sale.
• Point of sale — takes payments and updates reports and stock automatically.
• Inventory and payroll — tracks products across locations and handles staff pay.
• Marketing — email and text campaigns to bring clients back.

Who it works with

Hair salons, massage centres, barber shops, spas, make-up artists and bridal salons, from a single stylist to multi-location chains in many countries.
