InstaLOD

InstaLOD makes software for reducing and preparing 3D content. Its tools take large, high-polygon models and turn them into lighter assets that run smoothly in games, virtual and augmented reality, and enterprise visualisation.

What InstaLOD offers

• Mesh optimisation and remeshing — cuts polygon counts on large meshes while keeping visual quality.
• Draw call reduction — merges materials and textures into atlases to ease the load on the graphics processor.
• Imposters and occlusion culling — generates stand-in geometry and removes geometry that the camera cannot see.
• Baking and UV tools — automatic UV unwrapping and packing, plus batch texture baking up to 32K.
• CAD import and tessellation — converts native and portable CAD formats into production-ready 3D.
• SDK and pipeline tools — a C++ development kit for Windows and macOS, plus InstaLOD Pipeline and Grid for batch processing.
• Polyverse — a cloud service for storing and sharing 3D assets.
