DataSommelier Ltd.

DataSommelier Ltd. is a Helsinki data services consultancy that designs and builds data architecture, in the cloud and on-premise, from first design to production. Its founder argues that analytics, reporting and AI only work as well as the data underneath, so the firm concentrates on making that data usable and reliable.

What DataSommelier Ltd. does

• Data architecture and modelling: databases and data lakes organised for the client's use cases, such as a Dynamics data model revamp for banking.
• Data pipelines: moving data from sources, including AI APIs, into a usable data asset, plus LLM data pipelines.
• Data quality monitoring: automated checks that show when data is reliable enough to use and what needs fixing.
• Data strategy audits: reviews of data, quality and analytics maturity that show what value is available and how to reach it.
• BI and dashboards: reporting, with Power BI as the preferred tool.
• Technical project management: running analytics, machine learning and cloud teams.
