3mdeb Embedded Systems Consulting

Based in Gdańsk, Poland, 3mdeb Embedded Systems Consulting is a small firmware engineering company that works with hardware manufacturers around the world. Its core work is Dasharo, its own family of open-source firmware distributions, which it uses to make devices more secure, easier to audit and controlled by their owners.

What 3mdeb Embedded Systems Consulting offers

• Dasharo firmware — distributions built from coreboot, EDKII, LinuxBoot, U-Boot and other open projects, with long-term maintenance.
• Verified and secure boot — boot security for real-time operating systems and embedded Linux, including for medical devices.
• Firmware security design — firmware work to protect the computing infrastructure of large cloud providers.
• Secure execution environments — building and using hardware-backed isolated execution environments.
• Embedded development and training — general low-level software and firmware engineering, plus training.

Who it works with

The company serves hardware OEMs and ODMs, the medical sector and hyperscale cloud providers. Projects start with a consultation and needs survey, move through documentation, NDAs and a tailored offer, and continue with delivery, testing and ongoing maintenance.
