LAC Group

LAC Group provides research and information services, mainly to law firms and corporate departments. Its website now sits under Harbor Global, a legal technology and consulting group, so the details below come from the earlier LAC Group material.

What LAC Group offers

• Research and intelligence — briefings, industry analysis and on-demand legal, legislative and regulatory research.
• Library as a Service — flexible support for running a library, including knowledge management and assessment.
• Electronic resource management — evaluating and managing subscriptions, usage reporting and vendor coordination.
• Copyright clearance and IP research — document retrieval and clearance work.
• Staffing cover — remote or on-site research staff, after-hours cover and surge support.
• Competitor monitoring — market trends and profiling.

Who it works with

Large law firms, a pharmaceutical company building a market intelligence programme, and a wealth management firm tracking its competitors.
