Evolve Hospitality

Evolve Hospitality is a hospitality staffing agency with offices in London, Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and Cambridge. Its site describes temporary and permanent recruitment for the sector and concentrates on supplying front-of-house and back-of-house staff to hotels, restaurants, stadiums, private members' clubs, contract caterers, events, festivals and private households. The agency's own timeline dates its start to 2012 and the opening of its Birmingham office to November of that year. It says it is a member of the REC and accredited by it.

What it offers

• Chef supply: back-of-house candidates complete a cooking test and a knife-skills check in the agency's kitchen before their first booking.
• Front-of-house staff: waiting and bar candidates pass a skills assessment covering wine pouring, table clearing and drinks service.
• Upskilling: the agency runs training in silver service, mixology, barista work and till use.
• Compliance: right-to-work documents are scanned with uComply software, and every worker completes food safety, allergen, COSHH and manual handling courses through CPL Learning.
• In-house payroll: timesheets and client invoicing are handled internally, with all workers paid through PAYE.

Ownership

Evolve Hospitality is part of The Evolve Group, alongside Enhance Catering, which supplies DBS-cleared catering staff, and Collins King & Associates, which handles permanent management and culinary placements.
