Not yet independently verified. The launch date rests on the maker’s own Show HN post of 27 September 2026, with a Product Hunt post the same day; the blog runs from 19 September. The terms of 12 September still describe a free early-access service with paid plans to come, which does not match the $29 plan on the pricing page, and name the operator only as a sole proprietorship in Dehradun, India. No independent report of the product was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

Peas and Pans is meal-planning software for nutrition coaches, dietitians and personal trainers, launched by its maker in a Show HN post on 27 September 2026 and on Product Hunt the same day. A coach imports a recipe from a link, a photo, a PDF or pasted text; the ingredients are extracted automatically and matched against the USDA FoodData Central database, and the coach is expected to review every number before it reaches a client. A library of 450 checked recipes and a foods database sit alongside the imports. Plans are built by dragging meals into a client’s week, with each day’s totals shown live against that client’s calorie and macro targets, and are published as a client page and a PDF carrying the coach’s own business name, colour and fonts, in one of six templates. New clients arrive through invite links that include an intake form. Prices on its own page: one plan at $29 a month with unlimited clients and every feature, after a seven-day trial that needs no card; when the trial ends the account becomes read-only rather than deleted. Paddle is the merchant of record and adds any tax at checkout, refunds are offered within 14 days of a charge, and a fair-use policy limits recipe imports to 30 an hour and 100 a day. Every client, recipe and plan can be exported as JSON together with the plan PDFs. The terms, last updated on 12 September 2026, still describe the service as a free early-access product with paid plans to come, which does not match the pricing page, and state that nothing it produces is medical advice or fit for clinical nutrition or allergy safety. They name the operator only as a sole proprietorship based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, under Indian law, which a practice storing client data should note.
