Tuition administration for music and performing arts

Paritor builds administration software for schools, hubs and tutors in music and the performing arts. The product has been developed into Xperios, which grew out of the company's earlier Ensemble software, and it is offered in editions for different kinds of customer. The company says the system was built with feedback from conservatoires in the UK and that its priority is a service that runs efficiently so teaching can come first.

Three editions

Xperios for Music Hubs is meant to save administrators time and improve the experience of everyone involved with a music service, and the company says it is designed with the people who use it. Xperios for Music Schools targets the routine work of running a school: scheduling, finance, payments, reporting, control of resources and event planning. Xperios for Music Tutors is a lighter option for individual teachers and small organisations that want to manage their own schedules, bookings and attendance and bill parents. Customers pay only for the parts they use and can scale up or down.

Modules

The company lists modules for contacts, schedules, finances, reports and communications. Others handle assets and resources, groups such as choirs, orchestras and ensembles, the exam process from start to finish, auditions, events, workshops and tours, feedback to pupils, and relationships with customers. Emails and texts can be sent and tracked from within the system.

Self-service for teachers, parents and pupils

Teachers, schools and parents manage their own data through the online system, which removes or simplifies jobs such as lesson schedule changes, pupil premium data and contact detail updates. Each group sees the information it needs.

Data and reliability

Data is held in UK data centres accredited to ISO 27001, according to the company. Built-in compliance tools support GDPR and data protection rules. Mirrored servers and backups in the cloud are intended to reduce downtime, and the hosting providers' agreement guarantees 99.9 per cent uptime, as the company reports it.

Paritor Ensemble is the earlier name of software that Paritor has widened into Xperios, a tuition administration system. It is designed for organisations that teach music and the performing arts.
