TrustList summary

Not yet independently verified. Faraday launched on 29 October 2026 and names no customers. Its benchmark results come from a test it designed and ran itself; nothing here has been independently checked. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

Rather than sell one general assistant to every factory, Faraday trains agents on the workflows of each manufacturer it works with. The San Francisco company, part of Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch, builds reinforcement-learning environments around a customer's own processes and connects the resulting agents to the software and machines the plant already runs.

Back office to shop floor

For manufacturers, Faraday lists production scheduling, engineering and drawing review, quoting, inventory, predictive maintenance and accounts payable among the jobs its agents handle. For distributors, it names order entry, pricing optimisation, special-pricing agreement claims and demand forecasting. A shared runtime sits underneath, so agents working on different steps draw on the same connections and data. Robotics is offered as an optional extension rather than the core of the product.

The customers it describes are industrial firms: distributors, automotive suppliers and precision manufacturers. It names none.

Its own benchmark

Faraday publishes an "Industrial Benchmark" of manufacturing tasks on which its own system scores 96.2 against 75.2 for a general-purpose frontier model. The test is designed and run by Faraday itself, so it shows what the company chose to measure rather than an independent comparison.

The founders are Datta Kaligotla, who worked in engineering at Microsoft, Endeavor and Boeing, was a founding engineer on an enterprise AI team at Handshake and worked as a quant at Pretium, and Oscar Rangel, who built factory systems for Worthington Steel and shipped medical devices at Stryker.
