meraGEO
Generative-engine optimisation: a free scan of how three major AI assistants describe and cite your brand, then weekly rescans with change alerts and history. Paid monitoring from $19 a month.
About this launch
meraGEO measures how a company appears in the answers of the major AI assistants, a practice now called generative engine optimisation. Its maker presented it on Hacker News on 1 October 2026. The user enters a domain; meraGEO crawls the site to understand the product and its competitors, runs real-world, user-intent queries across three assistants, and returns a visibility score with a breakdown of where the brand is mentioned and where it is missing. The scan is free with no sign-up and takes about 30 seconds, according to the site. Paid plans start at $19 a month for one domain rescanned weekly, with an email when what the assistants say changes and a history of every scan. Results from AI assistants vary between runs and over time, so the scores are best read as a trend rather than a fixed ranking.
Not yet independently verified: The launch date rests on the maker’s own Show HN post of 1 October 2026. The site names no operating company or location, its figures about a start-up batch are its own, and no independent report was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
